The Broken Equation contemplates the constraints of Western culture’s formula for happiness and success. All of the images are found scenes in everyday life, nothing is constructed. Meditative settings play with perspective and capture incongruities hidden in plain sight. These unexpected elements disrupt uniformity, highlighting riddles within the commonplace.
